A late cancellation is a loss to many people. The club who has dedicated their time to accommodate the course, any student who has been sitting on the waiting list to complete a firearm safety course, and the firearms Instructor who has spent time preparing for a cancelled placement.
As a result, the following cancellation policy is in place:
If you wish to reschedule a course, a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required, and no fees will apply. If a reschedule is requested less than 72hours’ before a course, a $50 fee will apply to the student.
A full course cancellation request (no reschedule) made more than 72 hours before the course start date will incur a $30 administration fee, deducted from the booking payment.
A full cancellation with no rescheduled date requested, made with less than 72 hours’ notice prior to the course commencement attract a $100 fee, retained from the payment made by the participant. Non-attendance on the day of the course (no-show) will result in the full course fee being charged.
All cancellation notifications must be sent via email, and any applicable refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the required bank details.
Students are responsible for ensuring they meet all the terms and conditions outlined in the Form 33, prior to attending the course.
Failure to comply with the requirements in Section 4 of the Form 33 on the day of the course will result in the student being unable to participate. In such cases, the booking is considered forfeited and cannot be reallocated at short notice.
As the instructor covers all costs for range fees, facility hire, and certification in advance, only a partial refund will be issued. The refund amount will be at the instructor’s discretion and will vary depending on the location and specific booking circumstances, as facility costs differ.
